On a grey Thursday, in a dark and smoky room, the Buro team witnessed four personalities transform into full-fledged rockstars. Deborah Henry, Idris Khan, Amelia Henderson and Koh Li Tim looked every bit the part by rocking (no pun intended) grungy looks that include boots, ripped jeans and lashings of leather. Chic extras from Tod's Fall 2016 collection, from the mini Double T crossbody bag, to lace-up boots and a leather duffel with Gommino studs suited the rock-inspired theme perfectly, letting the stars embrace their alter egos. We gain an all-access backstage pass to get to know the personalities and their inner rockers in this exclusive interview:

Deborah Henry

Who would you like to catch at a live concert?
Coldplay or U2. Not many know this but growing up, I had two ambitions; to be a doctor or a rock star. That feeling of being on stage with fans singing along to your songs would be so amazing.

If you could spend the day with a famous musician/musicians, dead or alive, who would it be?
I'm going to have to pick The Beatles. They ruled the '60s and still are one of music's biggest icons. It'd be interesting to have a little chat with them on love, peace and of course, rock n' roll.

What is your favourite accessory from the Tod's Fall 2016 collection?
My favourite is the leather loafers with red tassels. The bright coloured tassels look great against the black, smooth leather. I think it's a great way to add a subtle pop a colour to any outfit.

Idris Khan

If you could be a rock star for a day, who would you be?

Definitely, Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. I remember being 9 or 10 when Armageddon was out, and I've been a fan of the OST and band since then. I especially love Steven's sense of style.

Would you rather be a band vocalist or a drummer?

A vocalist. Stage presence, charisma—I think I have what it takes be the frontman of a band!

Do you have a favourite Tod's piece from the photoshoot?

I'm an avid shoe collector, especially sneakers, so the brown leather pair from Tod's stood out to me. It's absolutely versatile, whether you pair them with casual or dressy ensembles.  I've even attended award ceremonies in a suit and sneakers—it's one of my favourite combinations.

YM Datin Indera Che Puan Amelia Henderson

If you could tour with any band in the world, who would it be?

I'd pick The Strokes. Besides the fact that I'm in love with the lead vocalist, Julian Casablancas, I'm also a huge fan of their music. I can listen to their albums from start to finish, especially 'Angles'.

Imagine yourself in a music group. What would be your band name?

The Red Velvets, because cake! I'd probably be the frontwoman or drummer since I like to sing, and I can play the drums.

Do you have a favourite Tod's piece from the photoshoot?

Yes, the lace-up leather ankle boots. I just love anything with a heel. I'd pair the booties with an oversized T-shirt and skinny jeans, instantly elevating everyday basics.

Koh Li Tim

If you could have dinner with a musician, dead or alive, who would it be?

I'd like to have a meal with Adam Levine. I think I'd learn a lot from him, musically and vocally. The lessons will come in handy since I sing his songs all the time.

What would your signature move on stage be?

I'm not sure what my single move would be, but I'd absolutely love to be able to dance like Usher.

What is your favourite accessory off the Tod's Fall 2016 collection?

I like the backpacks, especially the leather ones. They are simple yet give an edgy touch to any look.
