Local designer series: Ezzati Amira

Modern, feminine and alluring. These are the three words that best describe Ezzati Amira’s namesake ready-to-wear label. When it comes to her designs, the designer places a strong focus on wearability, but she’s constantly on the lookout for ways to amp things up for that extra stylish factor. For her AW17 collection that was recently showcased during #KLFWRTW2017, Ezzati was inspired by the olden-day military uniform, with utilitarian touches such as army-esque buttons adorning the structured outerwear. We spent an afternoon with the fashion designer to talk about all things fashion—from her bold yet understated personal style, to her thoughts (and hopes) on the local fashion industry.
