Yes, it is a night to celebrate the best in film and American television of 2016 but the stunning gowns donned by the stars definitely deserved an honorable mention. With The Golden Globes as the first major red carpet event of 2017, celebrities took the opportunity to dress to the nines on one of Hollywood’s biggest nights, including the usual heavyweights such as Michelle Williams, Blake Lively and Reese Witherspoon. Not to mention familiar faces we hadn’t seen in awhile, namely Mandy Moore and Kristin Cavallari.
