After introducing its first personalisation service mid last year at the Milan flagship store, Gucci is now making this DIY option more accessible for the rest of the world (especially if you aren’t making plans to visit Italy anytime soon). In an exclusive partnership with luxury online fashion retailer MyTheresa, you can now customise your very own Gucci Ace sneakers on the site come October 25, 2017.
With the recent fur-free policy that was announced just two weeks ago, the Italian luxury brand isn’t slowing down just yet when it comes to hopping on trends, even if it means making radical yet socially-ethical decisions. Gucci’s bestselling Ace sneakers have been heralded as one of this year’s most popular sneaker silhoeutte, available in a plethora of designs including embroidered slogans, flora and fauna motifs (the bee is perhaps the most ubiquitous) and even with crystals trimmed on the sole.
This new personalisation service allows you to embroider your initials along the side of one or both shoes—you can pick one of six colours i.e. light blue, pink, orange, silver, green, and gold. MyTheresa is the first e-retailer to offer this service, so be sure to check out the site tomorrow for the drop.
