Back in 1976 in Munich, a city where creative visionaries, artists and rock stars called home, it was the perfect time and place to launch a handcrafted leather travel goods brand. Thus, MCM was born. The German brand's luggage and bags soon became It-accessories for the A-listers who travelled the world in the jetset 1980s, making bags like 'Suzie Wong' and 'Patricia' emblems of global style. Fast-forward to a few years later, MCM was seen casually slung over the arm of legendary singer, Diana Ross to everyone's favourite queen bee, Beyoncé.

Living through 40 years of decadence, rebellion and creativity, MCM marks the occasion with the MCM Heritage Collection. The timeless chic range sees the return of some of the luxury brand's most iconic pieces such as the 'Monaco', 'Matchsack' and 'Princess Kyoto', just to name a few. Marrying modern materials and design techniques with classic styling, the Heritage pieces are finished in MCM's signature Cognac Visetos monogram and colourway. Originally unveiled in the 70s, 80s and 90s, each piece has proven its ability to stand the test of time and always stay in style. This season, the collection also introduces newly revised pieces that pay homage to the past while celebrating the present and future.
