A sneak peek at what is to hit the Giuseppe Zanotti shop floor this January

Emerging from the crushed velvets and ankle boots of winter, Giuseppe Zanotti embraces the change in season with barely-there straps for golden goddesses and rugged soles fit for an adonis. But of course, considering the wonderfully nostalgic 90’s elements that run through both collections and the signature Zanotti razzmatazz, the Spring/Summer 2018 lineup should appeal even to those with paler gams or less chiselled bods.

The distinctive structured wedge of the Picard gleams in a patent silver this season. Called the Picard Shining, it makes a bold statement, allowing the architectural heel to do all the talking with the almost invisible vinyl straps, save for a gentle peppering of gems.

Options for nightfall are more solid but no less sensual. The Aleesha mule echoes its gilded tips with a serpentine anklet, made of tubular mesh and dazzling crystals. The two-way Kendra boot is part bootie, part over-the-knee. Detachable via zipper, the beautiful nappa leather and silver hardware will flaunt those gams no matter which way you wear it.

On the masculine front, distressed denim makes its comeback in the form of a biker boot and a dazzled loafer with mirrored fragments aptly named Reflect.

Other styles take advantage new age materials for throwback silhouettes. Techno-neoprene is enhanced by a 3D rubber finish on the Cory, whilst camouflage rendered in scuba makes for a lighthearted take on a brawny print.
