MasterChef Asia finals: Will a Malaysian be the first ever MasterChef Asia?

Last night’s episode of MasterChef Asia had the final four contestants recreating a signature dish at Les Amis, one of Singapore’s most renowned fine dining restaurants. A hectic challenge down, and now we’re on to the top three with Malaysian contestants Jasbir and Marcus, and Singaporean contestant Woo Wai Leong.

For the last two episodes, the stakes are incredibly high. On 3 December, watch the finalists get inspired by emotional video messages from their mothers, to cook none other than a family favourite dish. The finale doesn’t get any easier. On 10 December, culinary genius Susur Lee, 3-Michelin-starred chef Bruno Menard, and Singapore-born MasterChef Australia finalist Audra Morrice will determine the first ever winner of MasterChef Asia. In the final battle, two remaining home cooks will be faced with a daunting Mystery Box, a Chef’s Round Table Meal, and a Pressure Test.

Watch the gruelling finals of MasterChef Asia on Thursday 3 and 10 December at 9pm on Lifetime (Astro Ch709)
