5 March (Mon), Reza Salleh @ No Black Tie

Sit those Monday blues away in an evening with Reza Salleh, and let him charm you with his brand of “folk meets pop rock meets the blues meets grunge meets jazz meets soul meets a cup of coffee” with a side of lighthearted banter. Here’s where you might get to hear a new original or two too.

There’ll be an admission fee of RM53. For more information, visit the event page.

9 March (Fri), Dangerdisko & Friends @ fono, The Zhongshan Building

Wanna get down on a Friday night? KL’s favourite nu disco duo Dangerdisko will be hosting a special Music Video Premiere Party for ‘Free’, their collaborative singer with Q Sound, at fono from 10pm till late.

9 March (Fri), Power Up vol.5 @ Raw Art Space KL

At another spot in town on the same night, Raw Art Space’s Power Up series will be in full swing. For those who are more into the punk, noise and metal scene, this is the place to be. 16 & 17 March (Fri and Sat), The Greg Lyons Trio @ Bobo KL

17 March (Sat), John Legend: Darkness and Light Tour @ Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting

Escape the heat, take a trip up to Genting and be serenaded by John Legend as he makes his way to our shores for the third time. The 10-time Grammy Award winner with soulful R&B sensibilities and the vocals to match will be here as part of his ‘Darkness and Light Tour’ – p.s.: the track of the same title off the album is brilliant.

Tickets start at RM366. For ticketing and more information, visit the website.

25 March (Sun), James Blunt ‘The Afterlove Asia Tour 2018’ @ Dewan Wawasan, Menara PGRM KL

The British crooner will be coming to Malaysia for the very first time on his latest album tour. Originally scheduled to perform at Genting Highlands Resort Arena, he’ll now be playing at KL’s Dewan Wawasan PGRM instead. We’ve heard that he’s amazing live (and this performance of ‘Bartender’ confirms it).

Tickets start at RM122. For ticketing and more information, visit the website.

27 March (Tues), ‘The Wanderess World Tour’: Sevdaliza @ The Bee, Publika

Revel in the seduction of artful left-field pop as performed by Sevda Alizadeb, better known by her alias Sevdaliza. Opening acts for the night are Malaysia’s very own alextbh and Victoria. If you’re new to Sevdaliza, we suggest giving the haunting ‘Human Nature’ a go.

Pre-sale tickets (includes 1 complimentary drink) are priced at RM78. For ticketing and more information, visit the website
