#Bestof2017: All the red carpet beauty looks we love

If there’s one takeaway from 2017 when it comes to celebrities’ red carpet beauty game, it’s that they definitely scored a home run (and more) with a plethora of hair and makeup looks that were memorable to boot. The Golden Globes Awards kicked off a stellar year with actresses such as Lily Collins and Priyanka Chopra serving some serious #makeupinspo by way of dark, sultry lips. Later the same month at the Screen Actor Guild Awards, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner taught us that matching your gown to your lip colour can be done, especially when it’s in a beautiful shade of red.

But no other red carpet festival/event could oust the slew of swoon-worthy looks spotted at the 2017 Met Gala. A few tongue-waggers include Cara Delevingne’s spray-painted metallic ‘hair’ and Rihanna’s pink and red makeup (using copious amounts of pink highlighter, no less) that complemented her Internet-breaking Comme des Garçons getup.
