Johnny Depp Lands a New (Unexpected) Gig

There is an unmistakably rugged charm about the actor; his disregard for ‘proper’ etiquette combined with his signature ‘soulful’ slouches, throws the very notion of a typical Hollywood celebrity out the window. But then again, there isn’t anything typical about Depp now, is there?

While Depp may not necessarily be poster boy for conventional Hollywood glamour, it certainly hasn’t stopped the luxurious House of Dior from making headlines (and sending social media into overdrive) by signing the much celebrated 51-year-old Hollywood ‘bad boy’ – who looks nothing like his age, if we may add – as the face of its latest Dior’s men’s fragrance.

For now, all we know is that Depp will be fronting a François Demachy-composed fragrance, with details still being kept well under wraps. The fragrance is said to launch in September 2015 – watch this space for more updates.
