Celebrity makeup artist Geraldine Loy reveals her tips to perfecting that ‘no-makeup’ look:
Step 1
On a cleansed face, prep skin with a serum. Using just one pump, start with the biggest area of your face – dot serum on your cheeks first, followed by your nose, chin then forehead. Massage outwards and downwards – it’s important to follow the flow of your muscles.
Step 2
Using the cushion foundation, gently press the cushion to pick up the product before distributing evenly on the cheeks, nose, chin and forehead in stamping motions. Gently press onto your skin when applying (instead of smoothing the product over) to preserve its luminosity.
Step 3:
Using the cushion, pickup a little extra product and gently but thoroughly press under your eyes – this is the best finishing step to prevent smudgy eyeliner problems! You can also use this over your lips – unlike normal foundations, this does not dry your lips but works as a treatment and a primer before your lipstick application. You’ll see that this holds your lip colour better, and gives you a more vibrant colour.
