A fragrance for the girly girl with an edge: Lanvin Modern Princess

Lanvin’s new fragrance is themed around the modern-day princess, one who can be described as both mysterious and rebellious. She keeps her femininity in check with a dose of sensuality, but doesn’t play by anyone else’s rules but her own and often has an ace up her sleeve. Her choice of scent isn’t predictable nor is it excessively sweet, but it is punctuated by a sense of duality that best represents her persona. It is both disarming and romantic—a contrast well juxtaposed by its ingredients.

Interested in exploring the nuances of this scent? introducing Lanvin Modern Princess, a floral-based fragrance that is a combination of “texture, emotion, and plenty of sensoriality,” as described by creator and perfumer Christophe Raynaud. Its top notes of apple and redcurrants provide an invigorating touch that’s almost innocent, while middle note of jasmine and freesia punctuate the scent with an elegant touch. Base notes of white musk, vanilla orchid, and blond wood leave a sexy, velvety feel that’s assertive and almost femme fatale-esque.
